NOTE: This space is devoted to news/updates and information on the Beach Boys that appears in news outlets around the world.  The Beach Boys have entered public consciousness to such a degree that new bands are compared with them, their songs are played at numerous functions, and their names are frequently mentioned in the same breath with Summer, the California dream, and of course, surfing and cars.  Since I began collecting these stories, I've been amazed at how far and how deeply the Beach Boys' influence has penetrated.  Their music has reshaped people's ideas of American Pop Music and the subjects they sang about continue to resonate worldwide.  Check here to read what is being said about Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys and for news of updates to this site.
